Travel around the world has been canceled while business and the world economy have been paralyzed, with the exception of activities considered essential. The rapid spread of the virus has confined millions of people across the planet and has forced the imposition of social distancing. As the countries of Europe begin to think about the lack of confidence, although at different rates and without a common criterion in the European Union, the focus of the coronavirus pandemic begins to shift to the American continent.

Europe

Spain (220,325 cases, 25,857 deaths).  It is the second country in the world in infections. The first death in Spain took place in the Valencian Community on February 13 and was discovered in the subsequent autopsy. One by one, infections have been registered in all the Spanish communities, and also in the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla. The Government intends to maintain the state of alarm that it decreed on March 15 until at least May 9, but it will start on May 4 the plan for gradual and asymmetric de-confinement by territories, which will last between six and eight weeks and will be for faes. Children can go outside under certain conditions from April 26, it is intended to allow Individual outings for walks and sports from May 2.
Italy (214,457 cases, 29,684 deaths).  It was the focus of the outbreak in Europe when it began detecting cases in the last week of February and is the second country in the world with the most deaths with coronavirus. The Italian Government halted all activity, except for the essential one, for two months and has prohibited entering and leaving the country. The Executive of Giuseppe Conte has announced the beginning of the gradual lack of confidence as of May 4, when the companies will resume their activity and family visits and funerals of up to 15 people will be allowed. Currently, the country accumulates 30,076 deaths and more than 196,000 infected people, including Prince Carlos, who overcame the disease, and Johnson himself, who was admitted to an intensive care unit. While neighboring countries decreed confinement, the country wanted to bet on a different strategy based on group immunity and did not decree confinement until March. Johnson is slated to announce the definition plan on May 11. Experts warn that it could be the European country most affected by the pandemic. In fact, an investigation by the Financial Times newspaper has brought the death toll to over 41,000.
The WHO notes disparate situations in Europe but believes that the pandemic has stabilized on the continent.
